Bakoven is a small quiet area nestled below the Twelve Apostles and offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Seaboard. Adjoining Cape Town's magnificent Camps Bay strip with all its excellent restaurants and famous nightlife is an easy walk away and only a 10 minute drive to central Cape Town and the well known Waterfront. The road from Bakoven to Llandudno and beyond is a popular scenic drive. Just outside Bakoven, there is a substantial roadside market peppered with stalls selling curious crafts. About halfway between Camps Bay and Llandudno lies a braai and picnic area with rock pools, and a string of tiny beaches popular with scuba divers who swim out to investigate the shipwreck just off the coast. |
